Important note regarding the copying of programmes

Aims / Objectives :
Aim: to educate the Chanichim on the events and the general going-ons of the Israelites in the 40 year journey, which could be done in 14 years! What took them so long?

Trigger :
This Peulah will take place outside to try and simulate the ‘outsidedness’ of the desert, all madrichim will have to dress up in general wilderness gear, sheets on heads and staffs in hand etc,
the Chanichim will be lead around a general route of the grounds, being stopped every so often for another bit of the story to be conveyed to them, each story will give us a chance to stop and certain things will happen in accordance to the story

Main part of the programme :
The Mana from heaven story, the story will be read out, and then flour will be thrown from behind a bush, hopefully getting the Chanichim all floured up.

Water from the rock; relay the story and then soak them with water, (it couldn’t be simpler)

Ten Commandments/Golden Calf: a few Chanichim will be sent over a hill and amazingly find two blank stone (paper) tablets, whilst this is happening, the other madrichim will strike a rebellion into the hearts of the other Chanichim and construct a golden calf, out of paper.
The others will return and order restored, the golden calf will be destroyed and the Ten Commandments filled in.

Ark of the Covenant: - This is a chance for the Chanichim to build their own ark, hopefully using natural resources such as branches leaves, etc, once this has been done, they place the tablets in the ark, and carry them about with them.

Conclusion :
To finish, the Chanichim will be lead back up towards the site, and towards the dining hall, good timing and everything as it will be time for lunch, and they can enter the land of MILK AND HONEY, or the dining room, and thus the 40 year journey will be complete.
