Aims / Objectives :
Aims:
To introduce the group to the LJY Netzer social action project.

Trigger :
Trigger:
Divide group into 6 groups of 4
Give each group one of Hillel’s questions:
If I am not for myself who is for me?
When I am for myself, what am I?
If not now, when? Hillel
• Each group must ask the Q to themselves , discuss what the question means and come up with an answer.
• They should write down the Q and A and present it back to the group in a discussion
• Sikkum discussion :We should in fact be in constant search of a balance between Tikkun Atzmi (self repair) and Tikkun Kehila /olam/am ( service to others). Each time we face a big decision we should be asking ourselves these Q’s.
• Kibbutz Eshbal is a community that has found that balance!
Main part of the programme :
Meat:
*Give each group info about Kibbutz eshbal
* Talk about it and decide what they can do and are going to do.

* Decide on ppl in the shickvot who want to take responsibility for the co-ordination with the office staff for the projects. Vote if need be!!
Conclusion :
Sikkum:
• Come back and discuss what they have decided and maybe they can vote on it and the actually set a date.
• Write a letter to a young person or volunteer on Kibbutz Eshbal.
